Echo, by Alexandre Cabanel, 1974. In Greek mythology, Echo was a nymph who fell in love with Narcissus, but she was cursed by Juno, and was only allowed to repeat back what was said to her. Narcissus died having wasted away looking at himself and Echo followed him shortly thereafter.
