Notes from session with George Wright 1.26.20

A few days ago I had the pleasure of speaking with George Wright of Wild Voices , an animal intuitive based in Jindabyne, Australia. We met bc I wanted to hear his take on what is happening to the animals in his community, and also the animal kingdom in general at this time. It was a really emotional session. Though it wasn't my initial intention to share this information publicly, I know many of us are struggling with what is happening to the animals, wondering what we can do to help. So I've decided to post the entire transcript. Please know that these fires are still burning and the destruction continues. Please keep sharing information and doing what you can. I’ve listed some of George’s local organizations, who are doing their best to help, at the end of the transcript.

How George is doing presently

People were offering him help during the fires (prayers, reiki, etc.) and he did feel like it helped

He’s feeling a lot of grief and fear energy – not sure if it’s Earth or his community, or both

Is especially worried about the Koala’s bc they are slow and get stuck in the trees

If he tunes into the nature spirits, he feels they are calm and have a sense that what is happening is somewhat normal, it is part of a bigger plan

What he gets from the animal collective

The fire is natural like rain is natural

They are aware that it’s coming and feels like instinctive fear, survival

There is more difficulty for them to avoid the fires today than in the past bc of all the deforestation (apparently Australia has logged the land horribly) and all the fences

The fires feel different now bc they are faster and stronger, also feels 2020 is more intense for a number of reasons

The animals are asking us to be more connected to each other, as well as with the other kingdoms: animal, nature,

They want to remind us that caring about the land is just as important as caring about the animals, the entire ecosystem is vital

Unfortunately, the government is just letting the bush burn (as opposed to bringing in resources to save the ski resorts)

The Indigenous people knew when the rain was coming, so they could light fires purposefully, to enrich the land. It was a very conscious process. But we’ve lost our ability to connect with nature and understand its cycles, which is dangerous.

Animals are very aware of human ceremony, they can feel it. Human beings are unique in that we create intentional rituals and prayers. It is very important for humans to keep creating conscious ceremony. Our ability to do this has also been greatly weakened, due to many factors, (exploitation of the land and Indigenous people). This is one of our connections to the spirit world and the other kingdoms.

Animal guidance to us

You must fully lean into your emotions and then also come out of them, don’t get stuck there. The ceremony or ritual you do will be much stronger if you allow yourself to feel and keep going. If you get stuck in the negative emotions you’re not helping anyone and you’re not having the effect you could. Stronger intention = stronger potency of ritual. You must rest and leg go, can’t be healing all the time. In the wild, an animal has to survive, it doesn’t have time to be indulgent with grief. It has to feel it and then move on.

Kangaroos carry the dreamtime frequency. We must stop killing them.

Animals are so fluid with life and death, which allows them to be fully present.
